People who enjoy coffee

Coffee, Coffee, Coffee.

I'm one of those millions of people who enjoy coffee daily, it has become almost a morning ritual for me and I do not start to function well until I have my morning coffee; I have usually  one or two cups per day but it has to be good coffee, carefully brewed and served in my favorite mug, a mug of my own design that allows me to enjoy  slowly without coffee getting cold. For this purpose I invented the HotSmart® mugs with a microwave absorbing core integrated. Below, the common coffee cup that we all know, how could you improve it?

Well, it can be improved the same way we improved the ceramic Plate which had not evolved functionally in centuries - We practically re-invented the ceramic plate - and now has learned many tricks click:  HotSmart® Plates
For more information see:

The plates are our baby, the only plates in the world
that keep food from getting cold

Let's continue with the mugs...

about the second most traded commodity on
earth after oil (Wikipedia).

A cup of coffee

I got this image from Wikipedia; the history of coffee is very interesting but the recipient in which we serve it has not evolved too much functionally. Yes, we have very good brewers  and a great variety of coffee nowadays but the coffee cup has not improved much and I wonder: Why I can enjoy my coffee in my own HotSmart® mugs but some people have (or report) problems? Is it lack of information? quality problems?

Below, a HotSmart Mug, no rocket science, just the only mug with a heater
integrated to keep coffee hot (patented)! Yes, but a heater that needs only 30 seconds preheating and releases heat slowly to keep your coffee hot.
A-Z GUARANTEE
(Pay no attention to baloney! I use them every single day, they work as claimed)

Preheat a couple times before actually using it

An 8-ounce (237 ml) cup of "coffee brewed from grounds" contains 95 mg caffeine
(is that good or bad? stay tuned)

Do this while coffee is brewing, no time is wasted ("Too much trouble" said one HotSmart enemy who probably sells mugs or has one neuron busy keeping an eye on the coffee brewer and the other one on the mug). If you think this is complicated, HotSmart mugs are not for you.

On the other hand, I got an e-mail from a lady that said she need another mug because she caught her mother using his father's mug

Well maybe the problem could be partially due to our design -which we try to improve using our customers feedback (real feedback, no malicious lies) - but maybe some people don't want our mugs to work, we are disrupting the market

I have purchased practically every type of mugs to compare to HotSmarts and I still prefer mine (HotSmarts). But, since I recognize that the customer is who decides, all our products have an A-Z GUARANTEE.

I would like to clarify  a few things however (to be continued):
  • The mugs do get very hot, saying that they don't get hot is like saying HotSmart sells water which doesn't boil  (a physical impossibility).
  • Pouring the coffee in another mug to reheat is nonsense and people who repeat the same thing without knowing are... like parrots to put it in kind terms.
  • Saying that only the coffee at the bottom gets hot  is false (have you ever heard of heat transfer by convection and conduction?); You are supposed to pour hot coffee in the preheated mug and the mug has a microwave absorbing heater which releases heat constantly to compensate for heat losses (as opposed to other mugs which attempt to insulate the coffee but immediately steal heat from the coffee.
  • Polystyrene foam cups work if you keep a lid on them but those are not for me, my guests or my breakfast table.
  • What to expect: The mugs do work, Don't exceed the preheating time; preheat 2 or 3 times before actually using them to get rid of sealer odors. If your microwave oven is a small one (800 Watts) you can increase the preheating time 10 or 15 seconds. Remember: A-Z guarantee at Amazon.com  (look for HotSmart® Mugs).
  • I use the mugs every single day, please don't tell me they don't work. Tell me what improvements you want, we do take into account your recommendations.
